Clean Space

November 17th 2008

Welcome to Dawn, Lyn and Phil who joined us for the first time last night. We started by having everyone remind the group of their metaphor for 'the kind of group I want to belong to' and then newcomers (and some who we seem to have missed) added their ideas to our metaphor map.

Remembering the Questions

October 20th, 2008

Welcome to Carol, fresh from the recent Less is More training. As usual, we showed her our "This is the kind of group we want to belong to" metaphor and invited Carol to add to it. She added a stetch of a person being held in the palm of a hand (for support) and being tickled (for laughter). Carol said she also wants to learn through getting feedback from group members.

Where Did That Question Come From?

September 15th, 2008

SERIOUS FUN - this is what new member Dave said he would like when we asked him what kind of group he'd like to belong to. So he added the word 'serious' in front of the 'fun' on our metaphor map, along with two stars.

Our topic this month emerged from last month's meeting when we began to explore the question: How do you know what question to ask?

How We Explored Three Topics at Once

August 18th, 2008

Welcome to Maggie and Keith, who joined us for the first time this month. We explored our group metaphor again and newcomers since its last outing added some ideas of their own, including: stepping out and back in again and a glass elevator. TV programmes 'The Lost Jaguar' and 'Pacific Abyss' put in an appearance, too.

A Really Clean Evening

July 21st, 2008

Welcome to Janet, who joined us for the first time this month.

Since last time, some of us had attended the Clean Conference which we agreed was well organised and worthwhile. It was particularly good to see so many people from the Clean Community altogether in one place, and the presentations were of a high standard.
